On Wednesday, July 21, President Barack Obama signed the most significant piece of financial services legislation since the Great Depression into law. The Dodd-Frank Act and its resulting new agencies, regulations, guidelines and studies will change many ways in which residential mortgage bankers, servicers and investors do business.
CampusMBA, the education division of the Mortgage Bankers Association, is the place for financial services regulatory reform education. As subsequent rulemaking continues to shape the new financial services landscape during the next few years, this resource center is your place to find the most comprehensive and timely information needed on this law.
To help prepare the industry for the effects of this legislation, CampusMBA has launched an ongoing series of webinars on the Act.
